This was a redesign of the portal landing page for an electronic health record system. The original design had numerous usability issues. Some of the usability issues included unconventional sorting, paging, scrolling, poor screen real estate layout, unnecessary additional clicking and sorting, and even some potential patient safety concerns.
The redesign optimized the screen layout, improved the overall navigation, created a new worklist workspace, and allowed for a more intuitive user experience.
